“About 10 mins walk to a Metro station so if you don't have big luggage, this hotel should be acceptable for you. Overall facility is very basic, which looks like just a simple redecoration from a family apartment. Yet the cleanliness is not bad and the surrounding area is also interesting. Near those chic restaurants on 9th Street.”

“The location was phenomenal. GPS may give you false walking directions. If you're using public transit, so know when you get off at Eastern Market Station, is simply walk two blocks SE down Pennsylvania Avenue. That's it. The hostel is in the middle of the block between 9th and 10th streets on the left. But the building is very tight! This is an old building easily older than a century and maybe even older than that. What is used as a office desk to check you in, is actually someone standing in……

"We requested a comforter at 10:00pm and the front desk told us that the housekeeping office was locked already and we cannot have an extra comforter because of that. As a result, we have to live through the cold night without an extra comforter"

"The Tidal Basin is just across the street from the hotel, and the hotel has its own private bridge across the street to the Tidal Basin, which is in a great location to view the cherry blossoms at the Tidal Basin and go to the National Mall. The service staff is very friendly, and the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean and warm. The room is large and overlooks the Tidal Basin from the window.We came to see the cherry blossoms this time with my elderly mother. The hotel is very conveniently located for my mother in a wheelchair to visit the Tidal Basin."
