“I cannot fault this hotel. My partner and I had a lovely two-night stay. We opted for a classic double room and (unlike other standard double rooms I’ve stayed in, where you can barely move around the bed) it was a great sized room with a huge bed. Our stay included breakfast and it was very good - hot buffet and also cold bits (ham, cheese, yoghurt and fruit, croissants, etc) - something for everyone. Restaurant 32A was so good we had two dinners and a lunch there - the food was really good,……

“Absolutely beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean and comfy. The only criticism is that £50 to use the pool and spa etc is absolutely extortionate…. Most hotels let hotel guests use these facilities for free, some higher end ones may charge around £10 or so which is fine….. but £50 is an absolute rip off. You can get 3 months gym membership for that. It is fleecing customers and made me not want to spend any more money in there like at the bar or restaurant etc. ”

“The hotel fairly easy to find could have done with a bigger sign as you come off the main road and smaller ones as you drive up the track .The grounds looked lovely and the entrance good bar relaxing and dinner service good spa a little small ”

“A little tucked away - so be aware not to drive by it quickly on the A55. Staff were excellent and the Burger King next door was great - the food was yummy (better than other BK's I've been too). Ideal location for onward trips to North Wales”

“Appalling. Comms poor. Rubbish across both outside spaces. Landlord absent.Front door key card wierd looked like Tesco club card no instructions. No opening bedroom window - black mould on ceiling and around bath. Wall behind loo broken and decor poor. Breakfast not apparent. Bedroom door hard to close due to door not clearing thick carpet. Cheeky note to remove shoes. Full refund demanded but no reply yet. Too much money for place - any money too much.”
