“The building is U shaped with the rooms overlooking the beautiful pool in the center. The room had great AC and was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly even offering to let us borrow beach chairs if needed. Breakfast each morning by the pool was fantastic. Located in the center of town made it easy to walk to restaurants, the beach or shopping. Glad I chose it! ”

“The Mar Rey was convenient to everything. We’ve staying in Tamarindo many times and wanted to be on the beach this time. We did however end up leaving two days early. A few things … we were in the end room facing the parking lot and street. Which was quite noisy at night. We came back to our room one evening and there was a woman sitting on our patio who walked off the street to wait for her taxi. It was sorta unsettling having someone sitting at our door when we arrived back. She was nice and……

“The staff at Hotel Capitán Suizo was beyond outstanding. The care they impart on their guests, the grounds and their hotel is excellent. The grounds are breathtaking and as a small boutique hotel, it is a quiet refuge located at the very end of the busy Tamarindo strip. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants privacy yet access to everything and anything that touristy Tamarindo has to offer. We'll be back. ”

“Had the most amazing stay at Ocho Artisan Bungalows. The rooms are decorated beautifully and filled with super helpful hardworking staff who will go above and beyond for your needs. Amazing views and easy access to beach, didn't need to drive around once during our time in Tamarindo as it was in the heart of the best spots. Mauricio, our server for breakfast, was a phenomenal server and especially extremely kind and helpful. 10/10 will be back!”
