“This is a wonderful property to stay at while visiting Tamarindo. It’s a block from the main strip and the beach. It’s set back away from the road so quiet at night. The owner and her staff are very attentive and inquire if one’s needs are being met daily. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tamarindo.”

“This place is amazing! Our second time here and we got a villa this time. Totally worth it! The villa is spacious, clean and a private pool was so amazing to have. Cala Luna feels safe as we traveled with our 3 kids. 2 teens and 6 year old. We are already planning our next trip back. We had Jose as our tour guide to Rio Celest and he knows everything about everything in the rainforest and about Costa Rica. ”

“We booked here last minute after having to leave a hotel near by that was not clean. This place was exceptional. Beautiful grounds, great food and a wonderful staff. We were sad to have to go home after only 2 nights. Highly recommend this hotel. ”

“we are so happy we found this spot! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They provided a list of recommendations for food and things to do, which was nice since it can be overwhelming with all the options. The breakfast was tasty and the burgers were delicious! There is live music some nights at the bar and the staff makes you feel like family. We liked it so much we came back to finish our last night in Costa Rica :) only downside is it can be loud as Tamarindo is becoming more of a party……

“We had a great time on our trip and Jon’s place fit our needs well! We appreciated being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops while staying in a quieter area. Jon helped arrange a golf cart rental which really added to the convenience. Jon was also very quick to answer any of my questions.”
