“A lovely old inn, upgraded and updated to offer all of the contemporary comforts one might want, including free WiFi /Internet. The room was medium size, with a queen /double bed and wonderfully illuminated bb its skylight. The bed and bed linens were outstanding; couldn’t be better. “Such a beautiful historical hotel,went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.The room was decorated for us.Such a lovely surprise.Balcony view was spectacular on the harbour.Outdoor pool and spa area lead to the beautiful beach.Staff so friendly.Food was top notch too.Loved it that much ,stayed over longer .”

“Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. “A nice hotel that is looking tired. Our room was rather dusty with cobwebs on the balcony. It feels like no investment has been made in this hotel in a long time, which is a shame. Great location though and nice spa. Lovely breakfast and the staff at breakfast were great. ”
