“All aspects of the hotel were very good, all rooms were pleasingly decorated and as you would wish in a traditional highland hotel, even down to some whisky in the room. We requested a front room and this was provided. Great cooking. ”

“We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the room was warm, clean, and cozy. It’s the perfect spot to relax, hike, and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. I loved every moment and would definitely come back!”

“Excellent location for a short stay. We stayed in the maxwells which were very comfortable with all the right facilities. My only suggestion would be to provide split bins for waste and recycling (landfill / plastic and tins) along with a tub for compostable waste. ”
