“Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't……

“We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Westwood Cottage, Gillian & Michael Bairstow & Scotland!Our 10 days in Scotland were fabulous! Lots to see in the surrounding area & close to bus routes but a car is probably best - if you can adjust to the "Circles" & oncoming traffic! (We did make it.) “Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx”
