“Wonderful place to stay! And Steve, the owner, was so nice and helpful! The views were incredible. We went boating, kayaking, swimming, sat out by a fire in the fire pit at night, went out to eat and to see the Abraham Lincoln / Civil War Museum. On our boat we explored many of the rivers attached to the lake. Sitting out on the deck was so beautiful and peaceful. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and dining room are nice and there’s a washer / dryer. Sat out on the dock too and watched the……

“I’d like to start with wow! When I first walked in what I immediately noticed was this amazingly gorgeous furniture and impeccably clean house! No detail has been left out. From the wonderfully smelling soaps in the bathroom to the greeting in the kitchen, laundry room area! Uncle Ernie’s house is beautiful, warm, comfortable and incredibly inviting. “This was our sixth stay in this house and is our favorite place to stay. We go on a family vacation every year and have stayed in different houses but once we found this one we felt like we were home. The house is spacious and everyone can have both their personally space and space to gather together. The lake is at a perfect angle to walk in or jump off the dock and there is plenty of room for the boat. The property manager Amy is wonderful anytime we needed to talk with her she was available.”

“We have been coming to Norris for many years and I can say this was one of the nicest homes we have rented. Its exactly, if not better, than advertised and shown and was clean. There was all the room we needed for our family of 7 adults and one baby. The outside areas and dock are great and what you come here for. It's perfectly calm and such a great to swim with the no wake area. The owner was super responsive and a great host.”

“This place is beautiful & has everything you need. Plenty of room for everyone. It was almost perfect for us. It would be perfect for anyone that doesn't mind a lot of boat traffic. It's on a main stretch of the lake not far from a marina so the traffic was a lot more than we expected. Other than that, we loved it!”
