“Overall we enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. The weather was warming up so the bees and wasps were starting to come out but did not bother us too much on the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and the best part was we were able to see bears from the back deck! The only negative thing is that Ober Mountain is below the house which took away from the secluded mountain feel. The roads getting to the house were tough to navigate……

“I had a very quiet non-smoking corner room with two queen beds. There is a small balcony on the quiet back side of the main building with afternoon sun, looking to the gondola and mountains. The bathroom is roomy, plenty of hot water, towels. Beds were clean and comfortable, each with three pillows. Microwave and refrigerator. TV with remote and more channels than one needs. HVAC worked like it should and was quiet. Parking is outdoors or in a ground floor garage if there's a spot available.……

“Mountain Inn & Suites is a nice little hotel in Erwin TN. The same Erwin TN that just got wiped out from hurricane Helene flooding. Hotels.com refuse to give me a refund even though they have received photos of the entire hotel in shambles with nothing but piles of debris all around it. They are not and were not open. I could not call the hotel and reschedule. But Hotels.com says they cannot refund me even though the hotel was closed and halfway underwater. Hotels.com is a complete scam. I would……
