“Such a fun little winter getaway, spent with close friends in the cabin next door. Awesome cabins. Fairly well equipped in the kitchen. Just take your own paper towels, tin foil and Saran Wrap. Otherwise it had everything you would need. Would love to go back in the summer”

“What a gem! Gorgeous property in an awesome location. Have your morning coffee on the sun dappled deck or walk to the beach and watch the tide come in. A short walk to the General store and farmers market. Great kitchen, with a BBQ just outside the door. We loved roasting marshmallows on the gas fire pit in the garden, looking up at the stars. Thank you for the amazing holiday Susan! Can’t wait to book our next vacation!”

“We absolutely loved this cabin. The way it was decorated made it homey and the gas fireplace made it warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. The cabin was stocked with all the cooking gear and other supplies that we needed. But our favorite thing was the view. From the deck in the warmth of the day or from the large window across from the sofa when it was a little chilly outside there were spectacular views of water, mountains, sunsets and wildlife - deer, seals and sea lions, and lots of……

“My only suggestion would be to have a map of some kind to show where the garbage was located. It was a bit difficult to find when we were leaving. Enjoyed our stay. ”

“Lovely home and hosts! Great getaway for the family. Located conveniently next to town but easy to access to main roads across island. Home had tons of charm and had great amenities. ”

“Our family of 5 stayed at this property. It was centrally located, with close access to the beaches. A vehicle will be needed, but the beaches are within a few minutes’ drive. The home is clean and well stocked. The property manager was excellent and responsive throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to others.”

“Hosts were welcoming and clear with their communication regarding check in and other amenities. Dwellings were well made and suited our needs. The locals of the island were so sweet and helpful as well. The island has many beautiful places to explore including walks and hikes. So glad we went on the “off season” as we were able to do our exploring with little or no crowds. Worth all the extra ferry rides as be able to travel off the beaten trail.”

“Our quaint little accommodations met all of our needs. The location was in a pretty forest & all the comforts we needed. We come to Powell River a couple times a year to visit family & we would love to stay again in the warmer months. Lots of nice little touches in our room & I would have given 5 stars instead of 4 except there was a lot of cobwebs that I think are just common in the winter months & sometimes difficult to see in certain light while cleaning. Overall a lovely little place.”

“We enjoyed a beautiful week's vacation at Margaret's cabin on Savary Island. Communication with Margaret was clear and easy. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week's vacation. The cabin is centrally located with several beaches within close proximity on foot or bike. We hope to return!”
