“Spent 2 nights at The Cricketers, had a lovely stay, our room was in The Pavilion annex, spacious room, lovely bathroom, spotlessly clean, comfy bed. We ate both evenings at the pub, the food was wonderful and very tasty. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice. The lady doing the breakfast service was brilliant, so efficient and friendly. Staff were very good, polite and helpful. Very enjoyable stay, we will be back. ”

“This was very much a last minute job, we were travelling home from 2 days in that London and were worn-out. This was in fact the only place we could find that wasn't either booked up or cost outrageous money. Although, the directions link on the Expedia app took us to the middle of nowhere so we had to phone the lovely people at the hotel for help. When we got there we were surprised it was a much bigger and better place than we expected. Would definitely go again.”

“Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. ”

“Easy to get to. Great brekkie for those who are not vegan. On arrival, had a spot of lunch. Would be nice to have more vegan options that didn't involve curry spices. ”

“Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings comfy bed and lovely shower. Perfect for a rest before an early morning flight. Yes, you do have plans go over but you get used to them after a while and we as a family enjoyed plan spotting.”

“A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. ”
