“Stayed at the Carriage House Inn for 3 nights while visiting the Newport area The Inn was very clean and quiet. BJ checked us in and she was very helpful and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and especially appreciated the gluten free items and fruit. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. ”

“Nice cottages with very well equipped kitchen with dish washer oven stove coffee maker toaster and even a blender, everything you have at home. Laundry is quite convenient, heavy duty washing machine and a dryer. The bathroom is well designed. The sofa bed downstairs wasnt too comfy but acceptable. Checkin/out were all self service instructed thru emails. overall quite a pleasant stay at this lovely place.”

“Such a cute B&B. We were welcomed with delicious cookies. We stayed in the Harbor Room. Bed was comfortable. We met the owners Elizabeth & Doug at breakfast which was delicious. They were very welcoming. I loved the Apple with everything bread, wish I could get the recipe (lol). Conveniently located, walking distance to restaurants, shops, & the water. Will definitely stay there again when we visit the area again.”

“Nice room and location. The only negative thing I could say is that sometimes it was difficult to get out of the parking lot onto the main road. But I didn't find out until after my stay that there is a back way out.”

“This is our second time staying at Shepherd's Run and we loved it again! We stayed during the week (with our 2 kids) and it is very quiet. I know there are weddings there on the weekends. The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the wine and charcuterie boards are amazing, the rooms are big and nicely updated with modern finishes and the breakfast is delicious!! I can't say enough good things about this wonderful Inn! ”
