“Good bed, good sized shower, good breeze through the window. The breakfast hours are too early nd too short, and you apparently have to reserve a table for dinner, but they do room service and it was quick and delicious. They desperately need WiFi extenders.”

“Breakfasts were superb and staff were really friendly and helpful. They clearly enjoy their work and it came across as a happy working environment which makes the guests stays all the more enjoyable. The only slight negative (of which nothing can be done) were some squeaky floorboards but, otherwise, the bedroom was comfortable and clean. It says a lot about the Broadmead that everything was great except for a couple of silly floorboards.”

“Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. Beach wraps available to use and a parking permit for the beach so it was free to park. Breakfast was huge and could be afapted as you liked it. “Elm Grove is quiet and surrounded by countryside. The hotel has a tennis court and Croquet on the lawn. We had a lovely meal on our first evening, but they don't serve meals every night. Our room was large and comfortable and a dressing room was a bonus. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. “Great location for day trips to anywhere in Pembrokeshire, especially Skomer. Overlooking the marina and only 5 minutes walk from a wide selection of good cafes and restaurants, but their own food is good too! Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and well equipped but the bed was a little hard for me (like most hotels). Not all rooms have baths but I was able to change at no extra cost. ”

“Room was pleasant, the bed was very comfortable & with lovely soft pillows. Towels were soft with a very pleasant smell that filled the bathroom. Only small complaints was the lack of Decaffeinated coffee & tea sachets, which you now expect in most establishments. Also the small TV was stuck in the corner of the room, but this only a minor problem. The staff were pleasant & chatty & the breakfast was very nice. This is a very nice guesthouse in a nice area, with several self-catering cottages……

“I will commence by stating that this is not my first visit to The Mariner's. It is and will be my first choice for staying in Haverfordwest. So, clearly, i have stayed in a large number of their rooms. You have to know or remember that the building is historic having been in operation since 1625, so don't expext the rooms to be uniform in proportion. Having said that, they are generously sized with, for the most part, large and bright bathrooms. The room i had this time had the largest shower……
