The ratings should be broken into 1-4 stars for type of hotel and then 0-100 within that category. this hotel did not have heat or air and that was not disclosed. It was not ADA compliant as had steps at entry. No ice machine. Owner/manager was very nice and very helpful with everything it is just the……

“The front desk staffs are very nice, always welcome you back to the hotel. The housekeeping is kind of slow, when we come back around 4PM, the room still not clean yet, but they very willing to change the bath towels and give you the supplies you need. At all, we happy about staying at this hotel, and we willing to book this one when next time we visit SF.”

“The property was in pretty good condition noting its’ advanced age. We had read a number of negative reviews but had no issues ourselves - rooms were small(ish) but quite comfortable and clean. Staff were helpful both via email and phone prior to our arrival, as well as when our flight was delayed by 12 hours and they happily checked us in at about 3am. Breakfast was adequate and very easy. The area is convenient for transport and the hotel is a very short walk from Union Square. The street……
