“A perfect escape! We got to park the car and enjoy the sunset and quiet while soaking in the views from the hot tub. We weren’t brave enough to try the pool at the start of May but will be back in the future. The breakfast choice amazing and Sue was very welcoming.”

“Very nice stay, the location suited me perfectly. The kitchen is tiny and really only suitable for making hot drinks, there is a fridge, kettle and toaster so no complaint. There isn’t a living room but there is a sofa and TV. Overall a great place and lovely host.”

“This is a lovely country hotel, i stayed last weeknin a garden room. This week I chose a room in the Hotel itself which was great unfortunately the staff went home and left music playing in the Restaurant down below and this kept me awake ! The Management compensated me in the morning for the inconvenience which was good of them. The food was excellent and the ambience was great so I will definitely stay again .”

“VERY crisp and ultra-clean. Not a speck of dirt nor a smudge anywhere. Cosy bedroom with good selection if drinks. Fresh milk was provided also. Comfy lounge with plenty of interesting reading materials. Unusually for online-booked B&Bs of this era breakfast was INCLUDED - as it should be for an £80 overnight stay! Dark sky provided at no extra charge! Excellent.”

“In my humble opinion. It is a lovely place to stay. When i can, i will stay here for Two nights every month while working in the area. Extremely friendly staff,. The rooms, that i have stayed in are always clean and comfortable. If there was an option for mostars, i would pick them. ”

“Great hotel the rooms are spacious and very well decorated. The bathroom had a fabulous shower and again great size. The shower cubicle had some mould in the seal which was a shame. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. We will definitely return”
