“This was probably our 5th or 6th stay at The Craven Heifer but the first since it changed hands from being a family run establishment to being part of a large chain. As always the property was very clean and tidy and very well maintained, definitely no complaints there. For us, the food had always been a selling point of The Craven Heifer, fresh locally sourced produce freshly cooked however on this occasion we did not have an opportunity to experience an evening meal but we did enjoy breakfast……

Staff are helpful and accomodating so polite and friendly. The rooms are always clean and layed out nicely Overall just a great place to stay.”

“Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.”

“Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy. ”

“Wunderschön gelegen, ruhig und idyllisch. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden der Gegend! Wir hatten das kleinste Zimmer, Doppelzimmer mit Bad. Es war gemütlich und für uns total ausreichend. Man kann bei schönem Wetter den Gartenbereich mit Stühlen ind Tischen nutzen oder drinnen auf einem gemütlichen Sofa relaxen. Frühstück klassisch British. Ein Plus: das frische Obst, Joghurt und leckeres Granola. Definitiv eine Empfehlung. ”
