“Could not believe the lovely view we had of Fistral Beach. Our double balcony overlooked Fistral Beach. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. It would be nice on check-in for them to explain by they charge 50 pounds per night up front.”

“Absolutely worth every penny. The decor is wonderful. Beds comfy, showers hot and powerful, kitchen stocked with essentials (tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid). The view was phenomenal! ”

“It was a lovely stay. Some parts of the hotel needed a bit of attention, but I would return, no doubt. I love the fact it’s an independent hotel. We ate in each night on our 3 night stay, and the quality of the food was fantastic. Also the quality of the bar staff and the reception staff checking in and out. Can’t fault any of them. ”

“Well priced, the room was on the top floor meaning no WiFi and little to no mobile service. Comfy bed and sofa, nice large TV. Room was clean and spacious, clean. ”

Staff were ever so helpful and service was fantastic! Highly recommend a stay here as a good base to venture off to different places of cornwall. ”

“The hotel is in a great location at the northern end of Newquay's main street, with numerous good restaurants within easy walking distance, and easily accessible parking out the front as well as around the corner from the hotel. The hotel staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome. They provided us with a few local recommendations when requested. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. “Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent food. However my main concern was the lack of air conditioning on the top floor. Unfortunately it seems to be the lot of the solo traveller that you get stuck on the top floor ( I have had this in other hotels) where it is usually hot and stuffy. Too much noise on the road outside ( boy racers and revellers) to keep the windows open. Shame because otherwise I liked the hotel.”
