“We had nice stay. The property is pretty close to the downtown area, but just outside of which was very nice.The owner was very accommodating when we needed to add an extra night last minute. We were very grateful to find a 4 bedroom in the location.”

“We stayed at Walnut Grove Ranch from 5-18-2025 through 5-25-2025, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute there. We were surprised to learn that the historic home was built around 1870 by the same Sheriff Brady who encountered Billy the Kid. The spacious home served as our clean, comfortable and well-appointed base from which we visited the White Sands, Cloudcroft, the Inn of the Mountain Gods, historic Lincoln, Smoky Bear museum, and informative Fort Stanton. “Everything was as listed, we had a wonderful time, very spacious, and relaxing. Went for my son's tournament, where the ages were from 10 years to adults, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The owner was very responsive when needed. Many towels available and options on toiletries, and the cupboards were stocked. Would definitely stay there and highly recommend.”

“Just a 15-20 min drive outside of ruidoso is a wonderful couple with a beautiful apartment style room. The property is well kept and the room is beautiful and cozy. My wife and I loved our stay. Easy and fast communication with the owners, they’ll do their best to accommodate to your likings and go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and satisfaction with the stay go smooth.
