“A wonderful set up. Beautiful room, perfectly equipped, nice design and look. Very comfortable. The outdoor private swimming pool and dining area is awesome. The staff is friendly, caring, professional. Great communication via WhatsApp. Possibility of all meals served in the room or at the restaurant. Nice food. Easy access to Ubud Centre with the shuttle provided. You can be picked up from the hotel for dedicated tours. It remains a glamping experience. So you can hear the sound of nature……

“Though it is not located within Ubud central, it is just a 5-10mins drive away. If you have booked any day trips(eg ATV, water rafting, coffee plantation, cafe hopping or sunrise watch etc), the operator will come fetch you from this villa. This establishment is not huge.... with i think <10 villas. It is quiet though. There are restaurants within 5 mins walk and a convenient shop just diagonally across the road. This is a 2 storied villa where the bed is on the 2nd floor. The 1st/ground floor……

“I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito……

“The staff are really nice and they offer drop off and pick up to the center. The room service food are super nice and healthy which is a bonus. Last but not least the resort interior is nice. One drawback would be the toilet is outside the resort and the frog sound is quite loud at night. But I guess thats how you get away from city and immerse yourself in the nature . “Not the best way to start a trip. Our reservation was for 4days paying an extra night due to the fact that we were arriving at 2am so wanted the convenience of having the room ready upon arrival. We arrived at 2am to check-in into a property that was definitely not what was advertised online/Expedia.
