“The two bedroom Zenda is a perfect getaway for a couple of friends. The lush landscape was perfect to have a cup of coffee or a nice meal outside, the hot tub was perfection and the view is stunning. Michael is an incredible host and made us feel very comfortable and was available for any questions we had about the property. This charmed nature filled little getaway is perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend!”

“The check in process was really easy, it can be hard to find the right bridge (especially at night). Wi-fi worked well for texting but you won’t be able to make any calls. We could use face-time. Kitchen had a toaster oven and microwave. There was also a grill you can use. Bed was comfortable! The people there were very helpful and the hiking trails were awesome! There were quite a few people staying in places in the property but it felt very private!”

“Location in Hawthorne which is not considered the safest area. However, the neighborhood was relatively quiet and I did not feel unsafe. Good ac unit in the bedroom. Room was clean and fully appointed. It is a shared bathroom and overall very simple accommodations, but also very inexpensive. The owner allowed me to park my car in his driveway which was very nice because there isn’t too much street parking available. ”

“The interior of the home is beautiful and updated despite the older neighborhood. The house was one of the cleanest we have stayed at. Only concern is that the code to get into the home did not work two different times (upon arriving and after a backpacking trip). We had to contact the owner to reset the code. Although she was responsive, we were exhausted from traveling and one time it was dark outside and we did not feel safe not being able to enter the home. Hopefully, this will be quickly……

“My stay was great, and Elizabeth was a great and welcoming host! It was the perfect little home for just myself, visiting California for the first time. The property itself sits with a couple other units on site, but each unit is private and separate from the others. "We stayed for four days and three nights, and our experience was truly outstanding. From the flavorful meals to the sparkling clean pool, the well-maintained environment, and the reliable shuttle service—every detail was thoughtfully handled and exceeded expectations. The only aspect that could use improvement was the service attitude of the night shift front desk staff, who came across as less welcoming compared to the daytime team. A bit more warmth and attentiveness during the night would truly elevate the guest experience. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for families visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The facilities are family-friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, and everything is conveniently located. Strongly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable family getaway!"
