“Beautiful lodge and property. I was looking for something tucked in the mountains that would accomodate my dog. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Mountain cabin was clean and very comfortable. Got some.nreakfsst sandwiches in the morning, amd the biscuits were delicious. “House had everything we needed and the covered porches were awesome. We did bring 2 baby gates to keep the dogs on the porches because they would wander off on us if given the chance. Peace of mind knowing they couldn't get off since the porches went around 3 sides of the house. House is very dog friendly with leather couches. Loved the 2 screen doors for the cool mornings. Hot tub was great. Our adult son and daughter-in-law loved having their privacy in the basement space.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. This is our third year vacationing on Nantahala Lake and have tried to stay in different places—this is one of our favorites!From playing in the jacuzzi to tubing on the lake, playing pool to foosball, and relaxing on the multi-level balconies and theater room—it was all so much fun. We dubbed this place the Stairway to Heaven because we counted approximately 222 stairs from the top room to the boat dock—great workout and great fun!”

“If you like fishing, rafting, hiking and site seeing without all the large crowds, this is place for you.”

“Cute and clean little cabin feel. We loved having the comforts of a place to land after a day of adventures. We appreciated the mini kitchenette for having some meals in and the outdoor amenities were amazing. We cooked some wonderful food on the Blackstone grill, and enjoyed the fire pit on the evening it wasn't raining. Lots of great conversations and company. The owner is very hospitable and there are lots of nice thoughtful touches through out. Don't miss out on this one. We hope to stay……

“My family and I came to the area for a weekend getaway to take our son to ride the Polar Express in Bryson City and stayed at the Lodge for 2 nights… and I could say the stay was definitely not long enough! It was a beautiful and quaint little lodge that was tucked away in the wilderness!! I had a mix up on my days and was able to call the owner directly to correct my mistake and he was so helpful and took care of it right away even though I booked through VRBO. Met him the 2nd night we were……

“This house has great potential, however the owner has it available for rent when there are numerous issues that need to be fixed. We were notified about two weeks ahead of time that the heat was broken in part of the house. The owner told me if I wanted to cancel, they would understand. Cancelling my rental would mean cancelling our whole Thanksgiving family vacation. Since we had already exhausted our search for another house, we decided to buy a couple space heaters and keep the rental plan.……
