“We loved the cottage. Cute open floor plan including bed, living room, kitchen area. Bathroom was a good size. It was very close to town which we loved because we always run late and needed to catch the train. Drive way was a little tricky, had to oull in the neighbors driveway to get a good angle ..sharp steep, bumpy incline that levels out. Thanks for the stay. Would stay again.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful. Everything was clean and tidy. The views from the porch were gorgeous especially early in the morning. The location is very close to town and water access is not far either. They provided supplies for the stay like pots pans, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, toilet paper etc. Which is nice to not have to run out and grab those things. Communication with VASCA was easy and they responded quickle to my questions. We hope to……

“Our host was very friendly and was kind to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed to be adequately furnished. We spent most of our time helping our grandson move in the university for his final year. We really appreciate the fact that the cabin was pet friendly so we could bring our 10 lb Maltese rescue with us. We had a really great stay and would stay there again. I would definitely recommend it to other visitors to the area.”

“It was a very lovely stay. It rained a lot so we didn’t get a chance to use the grill or fire pit, but would have enjoyed those amenities provided. Everything we needed was provided by the host inside the cabin, the bed was more comfortable than my own, and the view was just amazing. The location was perfect for exploring surrounding towns, only a few minutes to Cherokee, Bryson City, Sylva, and Dillsboro shopping and playing. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. ”

“We can't say enough about staying at Gaylene's house. It's our second time back we love it so much. The kitchen is so well stocked which makes preparing big family meals a breeze. With labels on things, cleaning up the kitchen is hassle free. We enjoyed the lower deck this year on the egg swings during a rain storm. As usual, we enjoyed the boat, dock, kayaks, paddle board and hot tub. Thank you Gaylene for sharing your lovely house with us!”
