“This was a lucky and incredible find!! Summer in Lake Como is very busy and I was lucky to find this beautiful hotel. The location, Tremezzo is perfect. You are walking distance to bars and restaurants and importantly a stones throw from a bus stop and ferry stop. The owners and staff are kind and very welcoming. “This was a magnificent find! Very small and quaint, with exceptional service. It is off the beaten path, and about 15 minute walk from crowded, bustling Bellagio. Much of the hike is uphill and on stairs, so beware of carrying luggage. Taxis are hard to find, and our host was kind enough to drive us to an early ferry upon departure (for a fee). Definitely recommend a room with a balcony. We didn’t include breakfast, but added a couple during our stay. Lovely to have in the garden, but……

“We booked a room for 2, but an extra twin bed was already there, so we are given a room for 3. The room is classic, clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (but only Reception can adjust the temperature ) The wooden floor squeaks when stepped on . During our stay the elevator was out of order for a few hours, but quickly fixed. Breakfast is decent. Overall very one here is very nice .”
