“We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!”

“Perfect getaway in VA! Hosts were very great about check in/out details days before. Was so quiet and secluded yet equipped with the essentials to make stay wonderful, even local soaps! Cabin is quite a bit away from store so make sure you grab groceries before the stay or you will have to travel! This was a great location for Grayson Highlands Park, Mt. Roger’s recreation and Demascus adventures! ”

“This was a unique spot convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock. The cabin is the bottom floor of two stories but still private and cozy. I would stay again.”

“More difficult to get to since hwy. 58 closed at Damascus. Pretty drive taking the long way. Too bad the Virginia creeper trail closed, I was able to go down until the first washed out bridge at green cove. Enjoyed the quiet stay.”
