“This hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good. The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for money”

“Wonderful traditional hotel in a stunning part of the Picos de Europa. Getting there is an event in itself; after you've passed through magnificent scenery, you're faced with a winding road to the top of the mountain, passing through two tunnels. Once there, you're on the edge of a charming village, and although the hosts speak little English, we both got by with the help of Google Translate! The hosts do everything they can to make you feel welcome and at the heart of a traditional Spanish……

“Es un casa super bonita con la decoración de muy buen gusto. Está en lo alto y te ponen el desayuno en la terraza, con una vista preciosa. Maribel, Goyo y sus hijas, son encantadores, nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones de ir por la zona y te hacen sentir como en casa. No sirven comidas ni cenas, hay un pueblo a 2 km con restaurante, o si quieres puedes llevar comida de fuera y comerlo ahí. Sin duda, muy recomendable ”

“Wow! The view from here is breathtaking! I originally planned to stay two nights, but ended up staying 5. I would suggest planning to spend some time here! You can see the Picos de Europa from your room and there are many places to sit / eat outside. Fuente De is close by and the hosts provided many resources for nearby hikes. There is a cool hike that goes by 3 waterfalls, into a small village, up to a cross, and up to a peak before circling back. There are other hiking trails that……
