“ We went up to check out an atv place near by and decided to find a house to rent instead of a hotel and we are so glad we did! Had some early breakdowns so spent more time at the house then expected but it was perfectly fine. The house is on a nice, quiet corner lot. The inside is spacious and very welcoming! Even though we didnt get to ride much we still enjoyed our time. We plan to come again and will definitely stay here!”

“House was cozy and comfortable. Off-street parking and close to many sites: Penn State, Everett RR, and Horseshoe Curve. Also close to numerous local restaurants: John&George’s, Al’s Tavern and Stone Cellar. Would recommend all three. Overall, nice house and location. Would stay there again.”

“We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. “The Yellow House is adorable, perfectly appointed, and clean and tidy. We loved it! From the fresh milk and cookies waiting for us on arrival to the easy and friendly communication with Rachel, the owner and manager, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. The beds are comfy, and little details are great- like bedside lights that turn on with just a tap and power outlets right in the night tables. At the end of a long day, we all appreciated the couch and loveseat where all of the seats reclined! ”

“Staying on top of Blue Knob Mountain was a perfect locale for our church youth group. The house is just off the slopes, demanding a short walk to get to and on the hill. The house has terrific heat and a wonderfully responsive owner. The check-in process with the key was simple and straightforward. While there was a small cleanliness issue with the dishwasher, we took care of it simply by having two empty dishwasher loads run and voila, it was solved. It's a simple set-up, but just right for……
