“The Woodstock Inn & Resort is the quintessential New England inn. Walk in the lobby and you are greeted by a large warm fire. The staff at all levels were gracious and helpful. The room was large, well decorated and extremely comfortable. Great location to walk downtown even with single digit temperatures. The shops were expensive but worth browsing & buying. ”

“We spent a wonderful week at Stay at Jimmy’s, with our dog Sofia (they are super dog friendly) and it was the perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. “Stayed here 3 nights for ski visit to Killington. *Very* good shower. Great water pressure, two adjustable shower head options. It kook a minute or two for hot water to arrive at shower head, partly due to extreme cold weather, but once water was hot, it was more than hot enough and remained in good supply. Unit was clean. “Honestly as soon as I got there I knew I had made a good choice. Then I stepped into the cabin and knew I had made an excellent choice. It’s by far the cleanest place Ive stayed. I went looking for peace and quiet and I got just that. It’s silent, it’s beautiful, it’s private. Even though it’s deep winter I still got to hang in the barn, feed the animals, go on quiet hikes. “Everything was beyond our expectation! The staff was very nice and helpful, our room was tastefully updated/renovated, the breakfast was simple but with a few great options, and we saw Big Dipper in the evening. Some guests started their day quite early and woke us up when they were getting ready to drive out. They weren’t particularly loud or anything but ear plugs would definitely help.”

“This was a great place to stay with my family of 4. We went skiing at Crotched Mountain, Okemo and Sunapee while we were there and enjoyed being relatively close to so many mountains. Complaints about the hotel are minimal. The heat makes annoying noises at night and we could have used some extra blankets but overall it was great and we will be back.”

“Great, old fashioned hotel with a family feel. However, the walls are so thin...I woke up at 1 a.m. to a noisy group arriving and they kept me up for 2 hours as they stomped around above me in their room. If you go, bring earplugs and a noise machine!”
