“We knew shortly after booking that our stay at Eagle's Nest Cottage would be great! The owners, Greg & Christine, were very quick to respond to a few questions that we had. We could tell they would be very good & friendly hosts. Cottage was beautiful, comfortable & and had everything that we needed. We spent most of our time in the lake or on the private dock, kayaking, boating & fishing.We brought our small fishing boat which had motor issues immediately. “What a beautiful find this was! A cute little cottage in the woods next to a working farm was truly an amazing experience. The cottage is a two bedroom with one and half bath, full operating kitchen with a working stove, microwave, and a Keurig for coffee, tea and/or hot cocoa. This breath taking cottage even had a screened in porch to watch the sunrise and horses in the neighboring pen. Literally nothing can be knocked being there. It truly was a peaceful home that was beyond relaxing and……

It is a 30 minute drive from Charlottesville but we enjoyed the drive since you have a beautiful country view when driving around. Also it is located near many vineyards which is great. We got to visit 2 of them. We truly annoyed our 4 nights/5 day stay. ”
