“Our family booked in order to attend our airman's graduation from basic training. It was so nice for when he had his off base passes that we could do it in a family type atmosphere rather than a hotel room. It made our family time that much more special. The house was clean neat and everything was just wonderful.”

“This place was Great. It was very clean and had all we needed to feel at home. The walk to the river was beautiful, I wish it was summer but nevertheless it was so very nice. Restaurants and downtown shopping are a rock throw away and a must to visit Gruene Historical District. We had a fabulous time, thank you Romantic Casita for hosting us. “Even though the neighborhood is a little sketchy, this cute home served its purpose for myself and my children. We were in town for the state basketball tournament and were able to save over $30 in parking fees since it was close enough to walk. It has a rustic charm to it. It had plenty of towels and sleeping space. I had no problem whipping up breakfast for my family. I'm glad they had a washer and dryer, too. “Was in town for a show at Gruene hall so wanted something walking distance from the venue. Easy 5 minute walk. There was a good little bar across the street we enjoyed as well. Couldn’t find the light for the shower or it was burned out but other than that the casita was great!Did not get my check in email but a quick call to the owner solved that issue. Responsive and quick. ”

“The apartment was great. Nice and clean with much more room than a hotel. The complex was quiet, and there were stores and restaurants in the area. It was a third floor apartment though with no elevator so if you cannot climb the you may want to reach out to see if they have a ground floor unit.”

“Loved this house! If you are looking to be within walking distance of San Antonio this is not the place. It’s about a 10-20 mins drive to downtown depending on traffic. It worked perfect for us as we were with 3 other families and needed a place to stay for a cheer competition The backyard is beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting outside visiting. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you. It is very quiet. However, there is nothing to see or do in that area. There is a HEB close by so we……
