“The hotel is grand and getting on in years now. For instance the lift is ancient/quaint. However the room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel appeared to cater for a number of large coach parties so if you came down for breakfast at the wrong time the dining room was mobbed and you sometimes had to wait for some items. “This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. Honestly amazing! Also offered to make up a wee bag for breakfast as I was leaving early! I managed to get something before I left. Only thing I’ll say, the room could do a with a little TLC, the shower doors don’t close properly, the door handle is loose and the curtains need fixed slightly, but……
