“The house is on a very quiet street and we had a very nice stay. The communication with the owner for very good. All the beds were comfortable. The rooms themselves were quite small but having a house instead of a hotel room gave us adequate space. We had trouble affording NYC and this fit in our budget Travel time to NYC was 10-15 minutes. Midtown about 20-25 minutes. ”

“The host was very responsive and equipped the house fully with all essentials. Very comfortable beds, fully loaded kitchen, fresh water, fruits, laundry detergent. The bus stop is just outside of the house. We stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful.”

“We enjoyed the diversity of the neighborhood especially the cosy and authentic cafes and restaurants. The view from this side into Manhattan was spectacular. The unit was not as presented on the website. Also there was a double booking of one day that we were informed of about two weeks before our stay. Still waiting for a refund. Transportation into manhattan was easy to negotiate.”

“They say a first impression can be your last and our first impression made it very hard to feel at ease in this unit. It looked like a construction zone. Dust was everywhere. They did have a cleaning person come in the next day and also provided air purifiers on request but still... my mom and I got daily headaches and nightly coughing fits. We are convinced in addition to the dust everywhere, there may be mold. We ended up extending our trip for a month. The unit was available but we booked……
