“Beautiful property and really awesome villa! There were so many tropical plants and flowers around the property and villa. It felt very peaceful and private. It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. “Welcome to the Garden of Eden! This jungle lodge felt so lush and the grounds were absolutely relaxing and peaceful. Definitely an oasis. The shared patios, decks, and pool area were a highlight with gorgeous surroundings, bird sounds, and hammocks galore. “I had a really pleasant experience overall. Ended up staying 4 nights. The only thing that was strange was the last night I had very loud pounding on my room door at 1:30 am. I was actually frightened and after the 3rd time I opened the door to find a lady with a staff member who said I wasn’t the right person. She was banging on all of the doors on my floor. San Ignacio is run down so this place fits in. cool building. spacious rooms. backpacker comfort level .
