“The staff was kind and helpful. We arrived at 5.30 and they offered us a room of half price to settle down. They took care of your needs. Breakfast was good. The premises was big and beautiful. Most importantly, the main entrance was always locked and monitored by a CCTV.”

“The staff was very nice. Overall, the property was clean and walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Also, there is a holistic medical facility across the street and I went in and used their services. I was pleasantly surprised.”

“Fantastisch hotel, gerund door een Peruaanse familie. Echte aanrader. Goed gelegen, en gevestigd in een mooi historisch koloniaal huis. De service tijdens ons verblijf was uitmuntend. We hebben dat op een bijzondere manier mogen ervaren. Zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij, en veel extra hulp toen mijn vrouw ziek werd. Nog zeer veel dank daarvoor! We hopen nog eens terug te komen naar Arequipa. We zullen dan zeker weer een kamer boeken bij El Balcon.”

“Definitivamente deberian sacar de la pagina los hoteles que no estan en funcionamiento. Llegue el dia de mi reserva despues de un viaje de 18 horas para que me atiendan diciendome que no sabian nada y que estaba cerrado. La dueña no estaba pero me habian confirmado la reserva. “THIS IS A 3 STAR NOT 4 STAR HOTEL. We stayed during their off season and many of the hotel amenities were not available for use including the jacuzzi, pool bar, gym, and sauna which we were not made aware of prior to booking. The room was not clean when we arrived with stains on the bed and hair/garbage in the bathroom from the previous person. The door had gaps around it so noise came through meaning the vaccuming around 11pm at night kept us from getting the sleep we needed for an early……
