“Beautiful location. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very quick to respond to questions and needs before and during our stay. Kitchen is well equipped for most cooking needs. We used the gas and charcoal grills, both are well maintained. Perfect for a quiet getaway away from it all. ”

“This was an amazing cottage. My boys, our pups, and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was stocked with everything we needed for both fun and relaxation. We loved the bench swings, hammock, and the reading barn for relaxation, and there were plenty of kayaks and canoes to choose from for fun. The host was very helpful and available when/if needed. There was some bad weather on our first night, and he even called to check on us the next morning. We will definitely be back!”

“This was the cutest cottage we've ever stayed in! Everything was clean, quiet & close to town & our other family members that were in town. It had all the amenities we needed for us & our 2 dogs & if we are ever back in the area we would definitely love to stay here again!”

“We had a good time here, but there are things that could use improvement. There was a snowstorm the day we were set to arrive and we were not sure if we were going to be able to get to the property. I got a text from the owner of the house the day of check in asking if we had a 4WD vehicle as the road goes unplowed usually. Luckily, we had AWD and snow tires so we were okay. I wish we would have had been notified sooner of the lack of phone service, lack of plowing, and also the fact that there……

You feel the history of the property from the moment you step in, and the care the Owners have taken to maintain its authenticity- the kitchen esp is adorable !! Location is phenomenal, you can walk to some of the best restaurants in town plus the bathhouse. The Omni is 10 mins down the road. We'll be back! ”

“Wonderful cottage in an absolutely stunning location. House has an artist's cottage feel, with lots of good books on the bookshelves to read, that I sadly did not have time for since I was busy keeping my children occupied. The location is very private and rural, but there are other houses nearby so it doesn't feel too creepy at night (like other places out in the woods I have stayed). It is very dark at night and we brought our telescope with us. One tradeoff that comes with the extra private……
