“We spent 3 nights in Cabin 6, and were so pleased. It was very clean, and comfortable. The bathtub is awesome, and the kitchen well stocked with everthing you need to cook.( not spices etc, but pots pans etc). We will be back for sure!!”

“Amazing...a 3 star that is 5 star for nature lovers! Log cabins with kitchen and comfortable beds, real fire places with ample free dry wood topped up daily, view of the lake. 2 hot tubs and sauna, free access to plenty of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards any time you want, small but good size quiet lake with fish to catch, multiple docks with chairs and other access to swim. Eagles, deer etc all around. Suoer attentive and friendly staff on site. Office has tons of games and puzzles to use.……

“The cabin was perfectly cute, close to town, and we saw so much wildlife! Eagles hung out in the trees above out cabin and sea lions swam by several times. ”

“Loved staying at this beautiful house tucked into the rain forest , over looking the inlet with no obstruction! Eagles landing on the trees in front of us while we relaxed in the wonderful hot tub on the deck! The hosts were so hospitable. We came into a clean, beautiful warm home with a personalized card just for our family. They communicated with us to make sure we had everything we needed and a contact number to call for anything! The house is absolutely stunning! Thank you !!!”

“Our overall experience was good. It is close to the centre of town, but not too close. The excellent trails are close and easily accessed. The unit was clean inside, but the building is showing its age. The hot tub was empty and there is algae growing on the edge of the hot tub lid. Though the trees provide shade, they impede the view of the channel. The unit would benefit from one or two USB outlets.”

“Despite some torrential rain (it is early April and Vancouver Island after all), Michel's Cabin was a treat to experience. It's rustic charm suited us just fine -- so anyone looking for a Four Seasons type experience should pass on this spot. The big bonus is the view and direct connection to the waterfront -- we spent several sessions in what I dubbed "The Lifeguard Chair" taking in the panorama. Hoping to return again soon.”
