“We were in town for a 2-day Disc Golf tournament, so not the typical clientele for this on the water fishing destination. However, this spot was perfect my friend and me to rest and recooperate after long days of sports. Clean, accessible, roomy, with a lovely view - it fit our needs perfectly. The nearby town of Cathlamet was small but lively, and it had the basics you could need for a short trip. Would stay again.”

“This place is an oasis that provided an amazing escape for my group of friends from portland. Feels like you’re in another world. Only complaint is a few quirky lack of ammentites: bring your own ice… and no disposal in the sink. Small gripes in the scheme of things. The reviews about the well stocked kitchen (for appliances) wer 100% true. Beds were comfy and lots of towels”

“We were exploring the area for ten days. We made it to Merlwn,Yale and Swift reservoirs, Astoria, Seaside and Mt Hood, Bonneville dam and fish hatchery plus three trips to Columbia Outlet in Selwood and a bunch of other shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the BBQ. The beef, sweet corn and fresh fish are far superior to what is available here in Costa Rica. My girls were impressed an didn't want to come home. We had one fire in the fire pit. My wife idoes not grasp the campfire……

“My family and I were in town for just a couple of days for a funeral. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It would be a great space for large family gatherings. I loved the two large living areas that would give plenty of space for a large group to hang out. It was very clean and the kitchen was updated nicely. “We were in Longview for a family gathering. This house was a great space - upstairs and down - beds for everyone (had 9 adults, 2 kids). We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening but when we came in for dinner and/or just hanging out talking, there wasn’t enough seating for a large group. That would be the only negative.”
