“Aufenthalt war alles in allem ok. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Unser Zimmer war sauber, könnte aber langsam eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. ”

“房间里有一种无法琢磨的味道，应该是某种化学残留的味道，但具体是醛还是什么别的，不清楚。 附近没有超市，难以购买食物。 虽然离海边不远，但仍然不是很方便，因为走过去的话，有些感觉不安全。 另外，不理解为什么city lodge都没有一次性拖鞋。”

“The hotel has an amazing vintage architecture. The building is amazing however it needs a some tlc. The reception ladies are great, they made me feel welcomed specially that it was my first time in Durban. The security guards was really good, very welcoming as well. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a nice sea view and it's very quiet, you get to relax.Just wish they could just could take case of the building outside, it really need some work. ”

“The check-in went well, but downhill from there. We had the family room but used 1 room. It was hot! The pool water was deep green and we could not see the bottom. We were told that it was going to be cleaned “tomorrow”. It took days to clean so no pool for 3 days and then the next day we were on a tour. The pool area needed maintenance, as well as some lounge chairs and table, chair and umbrella sets. It had none! The guest living room did not exist since dining table and chairs were……
