“We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this charming hotel. The lakeside position is fantastic - it’s definitely worth paying more to get a lake view room. The room was quiet & clean with a comfortable bed and good linen - I think a proper feather duvet. We had a small balcony which was good for reading. The roof-top bar served pizza and light meals. We dined in the smart restaurant one evening - expensive but a lovely treat. The staff were very polite and friendly. Parking free in the hotel car……

“quality of the in-house dining experience doesn't match the profile of the hotel. The facility keeps a very high level and are at the top in the area. but considering the normal high quality of the Italian dining experience, this hotel consistently underperform unfortunately. I still would recommend staying here since there are several really nice alternatives outside the hotel.”

“Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was spotless and had everything you would need. Beautiful walk around lake area. Felt very safe. Lots of near by villages to explore. We took an unexpected trip to Domodossola which was well worth the 45 minute drive to see the foothills of the alps along the drive and the old historic city which had amazing charm.”

“Une bonne surprise pour une réservation estivale de passage, compte tenu des précédents avis, qui nous paraissent sévères. L’accueil s’est avéré très correct. Chambre immense, literie confortable en grande largeur, propreté, décoration simple avec du mobilier Ikea neuf, ascenseur, petit balcon sympa avec une vue (franchement symbolique) sur le lac d’Orta. Effectivement, il faut compter 12 minutes depuis le village d’Orta pour rejoindre l’hôtel par une route étroite et sinueuse mais pas……

“Excellent séjour dans un hôtel calme et très beau. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et disponible. La chambre était confortable, propre et joliment décorée. Le gros point fort : la vue depuis le balcon, absolument incroyable ! Un panorama magnifique sur le lac, parfait pour se détendre. Je recommande vivement !”
