“The house was great. Clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom needs. Close to the Village and to the Park.”

“Check in process was smooth and easy. The property had enough of the basic kitchen utensils to cook meals, the grill worked well. The small heaters provided quickly warmed up the cabin when needed. Bring plenty of fire starter if you plan to use the wood oven/ fireplace. The view from the back porch was as advertised, this felt like a very private getaway. We rarely heard noise from the neighboring properties. It would have been nice to have a few more outside seating options, especially to use……

“Great place to stay while visiting the volcano!”

“Stayed one night and it was perfect for getting to and from Volcanoes. Best times to get there are early and late. Layout is quirky but functional. Bring your own coffee and filters as neither are provided. I had coffee but needed to ask a restaurant we stopped at for a filter. Wish it had a grill because the town of Volcano is a ghost town at night. No AC but it gets cool at night. A dehumidifier would be helpful rather than opening the windows but at least the coki frogs aren't as bad as……

“Excellent accommodations. Exceptionally clean. We have stayed in Volcano 2 times before in the Hiiaka House…which is no longer a rental. I found Jungalo Bungalow online and liked what I saw. I strongly recommend a stay here if the Volcano National Park is in your plans. …or one could choose to stay at Volcano House for hundreds of dollars more plus having to buy all your meals! We were very pleased with Jungalo Bungalow!”

“Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.)”

“This house was perfect for easy access to The National Park. Golf course was even closer, but didn’t have time to hit it. Beautiful area and great updated house was perfect for our 4 and could hold 6 easily. Great clear communications. Would happily stay there again!”
