“We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! Craig and Patti are great hosts. Patti notified us about the Kilauea eruption. Unfortunately we missed the show because……

“We had such a nice time staying in our Hawaiian Celebration! We booked the Bantam Suite (which looks upon the incredible heritage banyan tree on the property), but when we arrived we were offered the Carriage House due to a cancellation – we took it, and it gave us a kitchen, a LOT of space, and ocean views (and lovely sunrises) right from the bed. The property is so clean, well-cared for, and with breathtaking views – we wandered, relaxing in the many lovely outdoor areas, and enjoying the……

“Communication was quick and professional. The place was spacious and as advertized. We really liked that there was a cooler, swim equipment, puzzles, and other amenities so we didnt have to fly with anything.”

“This is my second time I wanted to show my granddaughter why her Nana is moving to Hawaii and this is one of the places she fell in love with her. I fell in love with the place has been renovated, so it’s very shiny and clean, but only takes secondsplace when it comes to the view always moving. Unpredictable and so much marine life this time we saw dolphins and turtles. The Dolphins were showing off. I’d like to share some of the pictures of this home and I must say the pictures do not do it……

“Check-in and check-out were perfect. The beds and furniture were super comfortable. It was truly a tropical oasis to enjoy our time between visiting the volcano and the falls in Hilo. The cats made the stay even sweeter as they perched themselves on the lanai. Christina was a very attentive host and gave us lots of good ideas. We enjoyed walking to the cliffs at both sunrise and dusk for our zen with the waves crashing on the cliffs. It was such a nice change from the more touristy……

“Really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, easy to check in, plenty of amenities including pool towels, pool toys and some snacks!”

“It was a lovely stay. My family and I enjoyed the amenities. The house was stocked with extra supplies from soap, sunscreen, toothbrushes, and toys for the pool. Such a peaceful and relaxing neighborhood. The yard was well kept and perfect to walk around first thing in the morning. We will stay here again. Thank you for opening your house to us. ”
