“Wonderful place! First time to stay in Rider’s Den Cottage. My husband worked from there on Friday, & was able to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful Spring weather, & the chickens visited while he worked! So fun!”

“The Ouachita Depot was in a great location to town, one block from the main road! The down fall, you could hear the train and it's horn every time it came through town. The space of 5 bedrooms was wonderful, but the lay out of the bathrooms was odd. You had to go through the other bedrooms to reach 1 of the 2 bathrooms. Overall a good stay!”

“We were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the house. It is very beautiful inside and out. The owner was very nice and came by to see if we needed anything. The house was spotless and the front porch is a great place to drink coffee and relax while enjoying the lake. It was a great place to stay while we explored the Ouachita Mountains.”

“Very well maintained property right on the river. We had so much fun fishing off the deck. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, almost like a botanical garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our very relaxing stay. The hosts could not be more accommodating.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage! We had a little snafu at the start of our stay but Julie (the host) made sure everything was sorted. She was quick on responses and ensured we were comfortable. The home is perfectly situated at the bottom of Queen Wilhelmina State Park and just a couple blocks from downtown Mena. The home is exactly as you see in the pictures. Very comfortable and has everything you could need for a great stay. We would definitely come back in the future. ”

“The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. “Always love staying at this location. Easy trail access. Great time riding and poor cell phone coverage in area helps friends and family enjoy each other rather than being distracted by technology. We always try to leave the yard and house in great shape when we leave. ”
