Es liegt zwar etwas abgeschieden, ist aber für Naturliebhaber und zum Erkunden des Südens Vermonts sehr gut geeignet. Auch Brattleboro mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants ist gut zu erreichen. ”

But limited staff on site and limited engagement with staff. Also, the house decor felt a bit more tired than quaint. Also, large edges at the beginning of the driveway that opens to a lots of traffic, need to be pruned or taken down because the inhibit seeing ongoing traffic (safety issue).”

“The Ira Allen House is an authetic traditional vintage house. It is clean & the rooms are comfortable. The owner, Mike is a great host & the breakfast is very good. If your looking for a high end hotel with all the bells & whistles, this is not your place. If you want a historic home rich in history and authentic Vermont, then you will enjoy your stay. We enjoyed our experience!”
