“The perfect mountain home for a relaxing getaway! The proximity to the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park and the town was a plus! We saw deer (with a baby), rabbits, and tons of beautiful birds on the property.The house is nicely updated with all the amenities one could want. They have thought of everything!I would highly recommend this mountain home for a relaxing and adventurous family getaway!”

“The home was perfect for our quick family getaway. It was just as pictured, very clean, and had everything we needed. I think our favorite part of the whole trip was hanging out in the backyard on our last night - the big maple tree provided so much shade in the hot afternoon and the string lights were a nice touch while we made s'mores in the firepit at night. There's a great paved and divided pedestrian trail across the street that was perfect for taking the dog out for a walk in the morning……

“It was a great stay, lovely property with gorgeous views of the surrounding fields, amazing sunset views from the front porch, and not a neighbor in sight. The hot tub and fire ring were welcome features to end our days with. Proximity to main roads, Luray Caverns, and Shenandoah was a huge plus. Rating 5 stars because everything was exactly as advertised and the property was very clean with updated fixtures. We could have done with a more comfy couch and maybe a smart tv, but understand rural……

“Arriving at the property the gravel drive way took you up to the beautiful cabins which revealed a gorgeous Mountain View. The property grounds are very well maintained and the cabin was gorgeous. Very cozy and had everything as described in listing. We spent most of our time in the newly installed patio which gave a postcard view. The bed swing was a nice surprise as the listing doesn’t reflect the new addition. On our second day the owner stopped and made sure our stay was going well and he……

“Place was beautiful and lived up to the name Solitude. Spent our honeymoon in perfect bliss. Great location to get away. ”

“The cabin is as depicted in the listing. Atmosphere and views were great. Charcoal and firewood was provided. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook all meals during our stay, but some of the cooking utensils could be replaced.Plenty of linens and towels. Could have used an additional roll of toilet paper.”

“Had a wonderful three day stay in this rustic mountaintop cabin. Kitchen was decently stocked, both bathrooms worked well, and beds were comfortable. Owner was very responsive to the one question we had. Would definitely book again.”

“We stayed at this cabin for a long weekend and it was great. Nice private and quiet. Loved the hot tub. Fully equipped kitchen was nice to have. You do have to bring your own towels, sheets , and bath soaps which they do tell you ahead of time. The location was perfect for the National park and caverns. River outfitters for tubing and kayaking was a few minutes away. Definitely recommend this cabin! ”
