“A buddy and I needed a place to stay for a weekend of mountain biking with a big group of friends. The location is perfect. Maybe ten minutes from Darling Hill where everyone meets to ride and less than ten minutes from town. There is a trail head on the same dirt road that the property is on, but we didn’t have the opportunity to check that trail out. The house is perfectly set up for a couple of mountain bikers. “Our family had such a wonderful stay at the cabin. It's labeled as "rustic" but did not feel rustic on the inside. It has every amenity you need, a full kitchen, the bedrooms were wonderful, there were games, puzzles, paddleboards and kayaks. Our kids were busy the whole time, fishing, swimming, and paddling around the beautiful pond, and roasting smores and hot dogs by the firepit. Sitting on the screened in porch at night listening to the family of loons was the best. We took walks and……

It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. Not suitable if you're seeking luxury. But it's a great place otherwise. The owners are planning some upgrades over time, and it was already upgraded some since our last stay. I hope they get a hose out back for bike……
