“The cabin itself is very nice. Walk to the lake is more like 15 minutes rather than the 3 that’s advertised but not a huge deal. The opening at the lake at the end of the trail is very small, and heavily brushed in so you can’t see much of the lake. The beds in the cabin were pretty bad, with the advertised pull out couch not having an actual pull out mattress on it, but rather a 3” foam mattress topper instead. You could feel every bar on the frame through it, and the head end sagged down. When……

“Was fantastic and functional. Peaceful, lots of bird watching from deck. very functional Kitchen, house layout (wish we had come here when we had small kids, even has a secret room under the stairs), deck was huge with massive picnic table. Dock was really nice, but we couldn't get in water due to weather/debri due to storms. AC is very strong and cooled house down quickly. Recommend to go to cute towns nearby, like Huntsville and Conroe, if the weather is not lake friendly. The lake was……

The property seemed run down and then listing was not accurate- there showed to be a bait shop, and ability to fish off the back porch which was not accessible due to “construction” The AC did not cool very well, and most of the lights inside our cabin didn’t work so we sat in the dark. We came in town for a family members graduation and wanted somewhere to stay for a vacation feel and not just a hotel. I can say the host communicated well, and attempted to come fix some……

“The property has a lot of potential! It seem like the owner has put some work and $$ into the place. But the cabin requires much more work and a lot of creativity. It was apparent that the property inside and outside had not been well kept. Layers of dust were on the surfaces, 2 out three curtains in the living room were hung backwards and nearly ready to fall of the wall. The kitchen counter was gritty, the bay window in the kitchen was filled with dead inscects, but the refridgerator was new……
