“This is a great family vacation spot . Having 3 bathrooms with 3 showers was a real plus a group of 9. The location is near several family friendly hiking areas (Wildwood Rec Area, Zig Zag Falls, Mirror Lake). Government Camp and Timberline Lodge are a short drive away. A grocery store was a 2-minute drive away. The firepit overlooking the river was where we spent most of our time. This is a wonderful place to get away from it all. I would highly recommend this property”

“First, this property has a lot of character. Not only is it in the beautiful forest land east of Portland, but the house itself is wild! Very large, many beds and bedrooms, and every room has its own character. It can host large groups very comfortably. The hot tub works great, there's even a pool table in the lower level.The host was fantastic, and extremely kind, and well communicated. “The Scenic View was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space to be together and yet carve out spots for those special conversations. One of our 11 year olds took stock last night: the group in the hot tub, the fire pit group, the puzzle masters at the table, the couch potatoes just chilling and talking, the reading teenagers sprawled across the bed. And always with Mt Hood and the river in our sights. Our hosts were super responsive. We loved this place! The kitchen was so big and……

“Very quaint cabin. Well sized for us two adults. Beds comfy and it was plenty warm. Outside temps were lo 30’s. Some sunshine, some drizzle. Didn’t utilize any cooking as we were attending a destination wedding where all meals were provided at another rental location. Wi- Fi was flawless which is extremely important for us with multiple devices each. Very charming place and would return to same if another opportunity presents. Totally recommend!”
