“We had a lovely time staying here. It was very easy to walk to the main shopping street and beach. In spite of a pub close by it was not noisy in the evening/ night. It was great to have a free allocated parking space even though it wasn't the easiest to find and access initially. The lounge had plenty of seating, the kitchen was well equipped. The fridge a little small if 8 guests i think. The freezer is good size. Washing machine works well. The beds were all comfortable. The stairs are……

“A beautiful barn conversation that is always extremely clean and welcoming. The location is peaceful and relaxing but several beautiful beach resorts are just a short drive away. The nearest town, Bridport has a variety of shops and places to eat or have coffee. We take our dogs along and they thoroughly enjoy the run of the fields and visiting the ponds. A great place to relax and reset. Cant wait to come back. It’s our slice of heaven on earth!”

“Excellent property, very well equipped and perfect for 4 couples. Lovely quiet setting surrounded by fields with sheep and lambs. Well placed for good food pubs at Stratton, the Saxon, and Sydling St Nicholas, the Greyhound. Good access to local walks with maps included in the property information. Katie and Oliver were very helpful and quick to respond when we had a problem with the heating, which was rectified immediately. Would recommend this property very highly. ”

“Very nice indeed. The only slight negative was the steep staircase that would need to be navigated from bedroom 3 and 2 upstairs if the bathroom was needed in the night. We had 2 small children who could use the master bedroom so ok. Otherwise very comfortable and well stocked. But I was worried about the Aga but found there was an electric oven as well.”

“The location of the cottage is wonderful, down a quiet lane with views over the river Asker and common but with it's own parking place and very near the town centre. The equipment is adequate but quite basic. We weren't able to put the central heating on during the daytime when there was a cold spell, without requesting assistance from the housekeeper. The housekeeper was extremely helpful and friendly. The house was very clean with a comfortable bed.”

“The Old Piggeries is a beautiful, comfortable, clean, spacious house in a wonderful location with easy, walking access to a shop, two pubs & a beach with restaurant. “We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully restored cottage in Lyme Regis. It was tiny with many stairs but very comfortable. We enjoyed a few afternoons in the beach hut which was very well equipped. The bunk beds are quite small- we have a 6.1ft teenage son! There are also no basic provisions in the cottage- no tea, coffee, sugar, oil, etc which was a shame. I would recommend this cottage to those wanting a central location, access to a beautiful beach hut, and the opportunity to appreciate……

“The cottage was as described, down a lane on a farm moments from the gorgeous village. The local pub is really just for dining and the food is excellent however you must book in advance as it is very small. The cottage is very comfortable and would be equally nice to visit in the winter, lovely wood burning stove and fantastic views. The kitchen is not that well equipped so be aware if you want to do lots of cooking however you are close to lovely pubs and restaurants if you don't. We would……
