“For a large family and two dogs in a love with the water this was a perfect location for us. The property was well cared for. Any issues the property manager was easily available. Lake was a little small for our taste but overall was able to get some sailing in on a sunfish and lots of paddle boarding and kayaks. Thanks to Troy for his hospitality”

The property is sprawling and beautiful, just as pictured or better. Communication with the host was the best I've ever experienced - he was so accommodating, helpful, and proactive (we never met in person). Hope to return someday!”

“We had a wonderful, too short stay here. It is beautiful location. The owner had some farm-fresh eggs for us in the refrigerator when we arrived. It’s close to the “bookstore village” of Hobart and one of our favorite places to eat - The Brushland Eating House. The house was very cozy and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!”

Every detail makes this home special with antiques and casual yet classy style. The grounds are gorgeous. You feel relaxation setting in as soon as you drive up the gravel hill driveway and approach the welcoming entrance. I want to stay here every time we visit our daughter at SUNY Covleskill! ”

“Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT……

“The house was perfect for our family. It’s super clean, comfortable and with plenty of room to spread out. Some weekends we had 5 adults and we never needed the downstairs living room. It’s also a great location close to the town of Roxbury and skiing. A beautiful and special retreat. ”

“Property was beautiful with pond and wildlife. We attended a wedding at Seven Ponds Farm and this property was 6 minutes from the venue. Perfect fit for us. ”

“Wonderful property. Beautiful house. Great set up for 2 families - one king bedroom and one bedroom with 2 twins upstairs and one king bedroom and one bedroom with 2 twin beds downstairs. Each room has it's own full bathroom. Everything is brand new. First floor is spacious and great for hanging out with open kitchen/dining room/den. Close to Windham and about 25 minute drive from Hunter Mountain. The property manager was very responsive to our concerns and questions. Would definitely rent……

“We had an evening and had to leave the next day due to predictions of 6 inches for snow. Celebrated Thanksgiving w at my niece's home instead - did not go back to house. Got cleaning fee back.Schoharie had now had such a storm in a decade.”

“Clean, comfortable, well-appointed and cozy, We had a wonderful stay. We had all kinds of weather while we were there and were able to enjoy the beautiful grounds, the hot tub, the sunny front porch and the cozy living room. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen stocked with everything you might need. Will definitely be returning.”
