“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Cottage exactly as listed, clean, light, and cozy. Location was excellent - small pleasant walk across bridge into shopping and restaurants. Gregor was communicative through entire process and helped us out a bunch on planning and direction. We took him up on a rather bespoke tour that was the absolute highlight of our trip. ”

Wenn man sternförmig Ausflüge plant und Abend zurückkommt, total platt, dann ist dies das beste Cottage. Wenn mal etwas nicht passt ( bei uns nicht) , ist sofort Hilfe da. Ob NC500 oder Eileen D. Castle. Alles ist innerhalb 1,5h Fahrt einfach erreichbar. Der Ort selbst bietet ja schon 2 highlights . Das Urq. Castle sowie das Loch Ness Museum. “Paul met us at the property and talked us through all the cottages features and discussed the local area. Cottage was immaculate and spotless. Very comfortable beds and a great nights sleep. If you are doing the NC500, then this is a perfect stopover and very tranquil. Would highly recommend.”

“We spent a few days on Skye and this property was perfect for us. It is a modest property with stunning views. Even though it's in an area with other homes, it doesn't have any homes close and the views are uninterrupted. The hosts were very communicative and I felt that if we had any trouble they would have been right there to help us. However, we didn't encounter any problems and enjoyed out stay very much! “Sonas House was the perfect home base for our trip to Scotland. I loved every morning waking up to seeing the Firth of Moray outside our window. The house was very well equipped, with just about anything you could need. It was wonderful having a washer and dryer available to wash clothes mid-trip. The owner Coila welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine and biscuits and gave us her number should we need anything while we were there. “After following Lorraine’s wonderful directions we made our way to Willie McLeod’s Croft. Everything anyone could need has been thought of. We stopped at the coop on our way so we were able to make meals after exploring Skye. We met Alan who graciously told us about his dogs and sheep :-). We needed some time away from noise and found it. Lorraine and family have done fabulous and loving work to keep the feel of the Croft while renovating it. We had a great getaway. ”
