“We stayed at this retreat in the woods for a 3 day concert run at Bethel Woods. It was clean, quite & close to the venue. The yard was huge and we spent lots of time at the fire pit. Our favorite beach on the Delaware River was only 12 minuets away so we spent our days river side. Plenty of parking and the host was very helpful with our questions. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Even through a few hiccups when we first arrived with the heating, being able to have quick communication with the hosts was a huge plus for us. We woke up to fresh snow and just an absolutely cozy day ahead in the cabin, plus midday a snowplow came down to the property and cleared a path for us - those details meant so much to us! “We absolutely loved Debra's place! It was the perfect setting for a weekend getaway. The cabin was well adorned and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing Lake Wallkill community. We felt like we were immersed in nature but at the same time we're close to Mountain Creek resort for biking and many stores/great restaurants. “This is a great property, and Marcus was a wonderful host. They have done a lot of landscaping since purchasing the house last fall and it was wonderful to sit on the deck. We were fortunate to have great weather except for one rainy day. As others have noted, the kitchen is small, and the dishwasher is only half size. While it was great to sleep in the loft among the trees, there is no bathroom up there, in case you have to go in the middle of the night. Also, no privacy if your family and……

“Very clean house, nice kitchen stocked with snacks. We had a nice stay here. A chair needed repair but did not affect our stay, and the host assured us that the repair was already scheduled. Will likely use again next time we visit our daughter ”

“Property is a little dated. Floors were rickety, I'm sure the neighbor beneath was annoyed. Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The biggest concern was when we learned the water in the neighborhood is not is non potable. That's partly my fault for not reading the entire manual before arrival but to then expect your guests to have pick up additional water for coffee, cooking, brushing your teeth, and for hydrating that kind of makes for a less than desirable experience. “Great spot with river view, lovely wooden interior for cozy cabin feel. Wood stove for a nice evening by the fire, but modern heating. Well appointed kitchen. Hot tub fantastic. Fire pit looks awesome but didn’t get to use. On a scenic road along the Delaware, 10 mins to port jervis restaurants and bowling alley memory lanes. Milford worth the trip, great Main Street walkable shopping. Raymondskills falls was cool. Nice owners very easy to communicate. To turn the shower on, pull the little knob……

“Stayed for three days with my partner. Cabin is a small place with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The size wasn’t an issue since it was expected. You’ll maneuver yourself through if you’re a bigger person. It is next to a running stream that you can hear from the bedroom (very calming). Note: it is about 20-30 yards away from a main road, so any traffic that goes through there you will be able to hear. It wasn’t that much but it’s not a being secluded in the woods quiet.”

“The listing, if anything, undersells the quality and cleanliness of the property. Spacious, well-appointed rooms, comfortable locations for cooking, movie watching, or conversations by the fire. The hosts could not have been more gracious, and everything was clear and easy to locate. We had everything we needed in the kitchen to make a large, complicated dinner and then spent a great night eating it by the fire (they even gave us firewood!)
